I braved the wicked hellscape that is outside my apartment to grab tacos from Mariachi’s Dine-In. I’ve heard great things about this little place crammed inside a gas station for a while and finally went there with a work homie to grab lunch and enjoy it six feet away from each other at the park.
The asada vegano was a bit weird flavor wise for me, despite having good texture. Overly sweet and not in a recognizable way.
The pastor though has flavor in spades. It’s probably in my top three in town now, having that winning combination of sweet, earthy, salty, chewy, and a bit of acidity.
