Earlier this year the company where I work got sold to a new parent company. My teammates and I had to go pick up our old office stuff and turn in our badges. So I met up with Joe and we carpooled there and back, stopping for lunch at Taqueria Insurgentes on the way back.
Nestled in a kitschy side area inside of a gas station on east loop 820, they’re serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in traditional street taco and Tex Mex form. Nothing stood out greatly good or bad, just solid tacos for working folks. Joe bought some lottery scratchers for entertainment while we waited. I won $4.
