It took me entirely too long to realize that the namesake for the hotel diner Sixth and Waller… was the street corner it’s situated on. 😑

Located in the East Austin Hotel, I grabbed breakfast here in the last day of my visit, with blueberry cream cheese French toast and a pastrami breakfast taco rounding out the meal.

The taco had a good balance, with pastrami that was well seasoned without being overly salty. None of the flavors screamed too loudly, which made it a solid and hearty breakfast offering to let my taste buds sleep in.
