I had heard the hype about Calisience and been warned to arrive early. Even getting there at 10:30ish, the line was all the way into the street and it took more than two hours to get through it!

Having had birria from Birrieria y Taqueria Cortez recently as well, Calisience kinda disappointed. The Tacos Dorados were meager on the meat front and crunchy like bad Jack in the Box tacos. The street tacos were generously portioned and flavorful. The consommé was a bit bland. The street tacos were good but I’m not sure I’d wait two hours for them again.
