The spaghetti squash and hominy was well cooked but a little on the bland side. Texturally it was interesting and I’d go for it again.
The smoked chuck roast delivered the smoky flavor I’ve come to know and love from previous pop ups. The hot sauce and bits of apple cut through the earthiness and smoke and delivered a bit of acidity and heat to make for a delicious bite.
If you’re in Ohio, definitely check out and support Billy and his endeavors. He’s sorely missed here in DFW, but Ohio really needed the flavor so we understand.
