Earlier this year, I spent a long weekend in Austin with my homie Eli and some new comrades competing in the MIT Mystery Hunt. The night before the hunt began, we met up for grub and drinks at La Holly/Cantina Holly.

The tacos were pretty standard fare — the pastor being average, the fish being a bit greasier than I was interested in. The chori-queso ticked all my checkboxes for a great ‘comfort food’ taco, perfect for soaking up the drinks we had. Fresh and filling sides rounded out the occasion and made for an excellent visit.
