Sometime in recent memory, Velvet Taco revamped their brunch menu offerings, and I finally got around to trying the new offerings.

But first, that cheese steak taco. Wow! Real cheese steak taste and the mushrooms packed that extra earthy, meaty flavor and texture. Good stuff.

Of the two egg laden tacos, the steak one really spoke to me. I’ve never had a proper steak and egg breakfast but I can see the appeal now. Toss in microgreens and peppers for lightness and vibrance and you’ve got a winner.
