Just a stone’s throw from Santa Monica Pier, Taco Libre is a small shop Servín big flavor. The birria was ridiculously juicy and flavorful, somehow managing to retain the soupy vibe without requiring dipping soup. The pastor was earthy and charred and complex, and was offset in a big way by the lime juice and pineapple topping. Both were excellent.
